Attendance in all of my classes is expected.  By school policy you must attend 85% of the possible classes each trimester or you may not receive course credit for that trimester.  Since A&P is a core course required for graduation, losing course credit could be a disaster for you. 

I will calculate absences based on a trimester basis. Since we are scheduled for 48 classes per trimester, 85% computes into 41 classes, so that translates into the following statement:

You may not miss more than 7 classes per trimester.  There is no such thing as an excused absence.

If you miss a class,

1. you may make that class up by attending the same class for a different section.  Please refer to the due dates website for a description of when each class meets for each section.
   
2. you may view a missed video, by arrangement with me for a mutually convenient time outside of class.
   

If you cut my class, that counts toward your accumulating absence total as one missed class.

If you are later for class by more than 10 minutes, that will count as a TARDY and 3 TARDY'S = 1 ABSENCE.
