Louisa (a.k.a., Lou)
Harmon

George
Sinn
version 14: 8/5/09

minks?

Louisa Harman and
her husband George Sinn
(I think... )

Location: taken by
Nickell Photography in Marceline, MO

Date: ?

From the collection of Joel S. DeWitt, Jr
who obtained the photo from the
collection of Mary Sophia Harmon

I am not positive anymore about this photo.  My copy did not have any identities written on the back.  I concluded their identities based upon other photos, but I may be wrong because another family related to the older Harmon children, Alice and Frederick, showed me the same photo.  They believe this picture to be of Frederick and Elizabeth Scott Harmon.

As of 5/9/06... I am unclear and just wanted to note this confusion.

I still think she is a Harmon however, because of all of the other photos I have added below.  Two of the Harmon girls, Tilda and Louisa look very similar so I am not sure if this is Tilda or Louisa.  (Tilda seemed to have a larger head than Louisa.) (See more photos)

     according to Mary's obituary.

I can not find her in 1930 census.
Since she was divorced she may have moved
     back to Missouri.

Living at least in 1951 in Salisbury, MO.
She was listed as a surviving relative in
     her step-sister's (Alice Josephinre Sportsman)
     obituary.

Also may have lived through 1958 because
she is not listed in the Missouri Death Certificate
website which as of May 2009 lists deaths
     through 1958.

       (wife of John Henry Sportsman)
    - Paulina Bartles Harman

      (second wife of John Harman)
    - maybe Louisa Harmon Sinn
(dau. of John and Paulina Harman)
       (wife of George Sinn)

    Location: Probably Chariton Co, MO

Date: Before 1928 when Paulina died.
Note: Mary Harmon Richardson had 12 children and her last Fern Helen was born in 1922.  If the child she is carrying was Fern and was about 3 years old, then the date of this photo would be about 1925.  The child also looks like her second youngest, Mary Frances who was born in 1919, so then the date of this photo might be 1922.
