Examination Overview:
The goal of this paper is to review the current issues about Stem Cells.

You should begin with the assumption that you have the challenge of explaining to your parents what Stem Cells are.  Even if your parents are knowledgeable, assume that they are not.

Paper Sections
A. OVERVIEW
You should review the locations and types of stem cells found in humans as discussed in this course.  Also, you should talk about how they are used in your body under normal conditions. 

B.  USE IN RESEARCH
In the second section you should discuss how these cells could be used for research.  Which types are used? Why is there a controversy about their use? What are the pros and cons of their use?

C. POTENTIAL OUTCOMES
In the last section you should talk about two different potential positive outcomes from the study of stem cells. 
Technical Considerations
  • Graphic support is required for each section A-C that is appropriate for educating the reader as if you were giving a series of lectures.
  • References are expected as well.
  • Standard formatting rules apply: Formatting
  • Size:  Minimum of 7 pages including graphics and references.  Maximum of 10 pages.
