Discuss at least four portals and provide an example of a pathogen that uses this pathway for invasion of human bodies.
        • Q2: Once a pathogen invades your body, a painful experience can ensue.  How does pathogen invasion cause pain? Make sure you include specific examples.
        • Q3: Your blood is a complex system.  What factors in your blood can be considered part of your body defense system against invading pathogens?  In general, what are their roles?
        • Q4: Inflammation is a response to pathogen invasion that helps protect your cells.  What causes inflammation and how does it help you?
