Punched Tape
A tape puncher produces holes in paper, mylar, or foil (punched tape)
material in such a manner so as to represent a particular set of data.
The standard geometry for this type of media is EIA RS-227.
A telewriter is a device used to type in CNC programs. As you type in
the code, a punch tape machine would be punching out the punch tape.
